About the job

Do you want to help raise the healthcare quality in elder care and ensure that new solutions are translated into practice?

We are seeking a health professional consultant for a maternity leave cover in Team Health at the Center for Elderly Care and Prevention. You will play a central role in three concrete initiatives that aim to strengthen quality, competence development and patient safety in our elder care.

The position is close to practice, and you will collaborate with both leaders and staff at our units.

Your main tasks

You will play a central role in three concrete initiatives

  • Audit: You will help implement and carry out our audit concept in elder care and ensure that findings and learning are translated into concrete improvements in practice.
  • MyMedCards : You will have the primary responsibility for implementing MyMedCards with particular focus on the MySkills part, which is a tool to support employees’ competence development
  • Unintended incidents (UTH): You will strengthen the systematic work with UTH and help ensure that incidents and data are used actively for learning, prevention and improvement.

The position entails close collaboration with managers and staff in operations, and you will play an important role in ensuring that the initiatives are anchored and work in practice.

We imagine that you

  • are a trained nurse, preferably with relevant post- or further education
  • have experience from municipal elder care and documentation in Nexus
  • have experience with quality and improvement work
  • have experience with implementation and making new workflows work in practice
  • have an interest in patient safety and learning
  • have good communication skills, both oral and written
  • work in a structured and independent manner and take responsibility for tasks from start to finish
  • enjoy collaborating with managers, staff and different professional groups.

Who are we?

You will become part of Team Health, which is one of the three teams in the staff at the Center for Elderly Care and Prevention. In Team Health we work closely with practice to support quality and development across the elderly and prevention area.

We focus on collaboration, professional sparring and health-professional solutions that create value in practice.

We offer

  • a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to make a concrete mark on quality and patient safety
  • three clear and substantial areas of responsibility
  • great opportunity to independently drive your tasks
  • a daily routine close to practice
  • a strong professional community in Team Health
  • good opportunities for professional and personal development.

Practical information

  • The position is a maternity leave cover (approx. 10 months)
  • The position is 37 hours per week
  • Start date 1 January 2027
  • Salary according to applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles
  • Criminal record certificate will be obtained upon appointment

You will have a fixed base at the town hall in Kokkedal, but a large part of your work will also take place in the individual home care teams. A driver’s license is therefore a prerequisite – there is an option to borrow the municipality’s electric cars.
