About the job

Are you our new colleague?

Do you have experience with — or a desire to — work in a politically governed organization? Do you thrive in coordinating cross-disciplinary initiatives in collaboration with citizens and colleagues? Can you see yourself in an authority role in a time of change?

Then you may be the person we are looking for for a permanent position in the Health-Related Authority, with a focus on assistive devices, and based at Egedal Town Hall close to Egedal Station.

About us

The Health-Related Authority consists of several teams, including the Assistive Devices Team, which handles, among other things, the processing of applications for assistive devices, consumables, handicap cars, vision and hearing aids, and home modifications.

We, like other municipalities, face major changes in the health and care sector, which requires ongoing development of our workflows. You will experience that the Health-Related Authority plays a central role in cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational collaboration around citizens.

The Assistive Devices Team covers the four geographic areas of home care. We work closely with other colleagues in the Health-Related Authority, our colleagues in Egedal Municipality generally, and our external partners.

We value high professionalism, job satisfaction, a good working environment, and professional sparring. We offer a thorough introduction to both the organization and the tasks.

We would like to hear from you if you

  • are educated as an occupational therapist or with a similar relevant background - preferably with experience from authority/agency work
  • thrive in a workday that can be busy and unpredictable
  • work based on professionalism, legislation, and the politically decided service level
  • are keen on development and have good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • can conduct holistic needs assessments with the citizen and their relatives as active participants and with the citizen's wishes at the center
  • are able and willing to collaborate across disciplines between administrations and sectors and civil society
  • can work independently and contribute positively to the team's well-being
  • have a driver’s license

Additionally, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of the Cura care system, but it is not a requirement.

Further information

The position is 37 hours per week.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and in line with the Ny Løn (New Salary) principles.

If you would like to know more about the position, you are welcome to contact manager Birte Buch at phone number 7259 7434 or union representative Sarah Frei at phone 7259 6742.

The application deadline is Wednesday 11 November 2026.

Interviews will be held on Monday 16 November 2026 at Egedal Municipality's Town Hall.

Preferred start date 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.

Educational certificates are attached to the application.

If you are offered the position, Egedal Municipality requires you to be willing to obtain and submit a criminal record (police clearance).
