A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am a 65-year-old man living in a house in Brøndby with my wife.

I am sociable and have an open and cheerful mindset that emphasizes cooperation and mutual respect.

I use an electric wheelchair and cannot use my arms or legs. I need help with daily and practical tasks in my daily life.

You may have experience with helper jobs in general.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The position is 34 hours on average per week, and you will be part of my well-functioning team of five including you.

They cover all shifts themselves on weekdays, weekends, vacation periods, holidays etc.

Shifts are 12 hours long in the time frame 09:00 – 21:00 or from 21:00 – 09:00.

There are no on-call hours at night where you can rest in the helper room, but you are available as needed.

What I expect from you

• That you can handle ordinary household tasks, cleaning & laundry
• That you can shop for me, help me in the kitchen and cook
• That you can help me in the bath, personal care, and transfers
• That you are motivated, proactive and a positive person
• That you possess human understanding
• That you can give and receive constructive feedback
• That you have a driving license, as there will be driving to rehabilitation
• That you are stable, flexible and can step in during illness/vacation
• That you manage to respect the balance that my home is your workplace

As a disability helper you will become part of a good, flexible and essential team of disability helpers who collectively cover all shifts year-round.

The job takes place in the citizen’s own home, for leisure activities, social events and the outings the citizen would like to participate in.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Driving license B – manual transmission

• Start date: as soon as possible
• Part-time: 34 hours per week, on average
