Horse- and pig-savvy instructor for Zealand Agricultural School

At Landbrugsskolen Sjælland in Høng we are seeking a new colleague for the operation of our horse department as well as for both practical and theoretical teaching in various agricultural subjects.

• You have a background as a farmer with interest in and experience with handling horses and riders.
• You probably have teaching experience based on your theoretical and practical experience

A little about your tasks and our expectations of you

• Daily responsible for the school's horse department, duty rosters, supervision of the horses, purchases of fodder, etc.
• Teaching in practical and theoretical agricultural subjects including pigs, farm practice, etc.
• Relationship and contact work in a generous and engaging relationship with the students.
• Willingness to a varied everyday life where your tasks will alternate between work on the farm and teaching in the classroom.
• Prepared to be available for boarders and riding students also outside normal working hours.

A little about Landbrugsskolen Sjælland

Landbrugsskolen Sjælland is located in Høng on West Zealand near the Great Belt. The school offers the full agricultural education and has an attached smaller crop production farm, which is in the midst of a fundamental change towards green transition and sustainability.

The majority of the school's students live at the boarding school, and as a teacher you will become part of this environment.

Terms of employment and application deadline

Employment is as a subject teacher on civil servant‑like terms. Salary and pension are set according to the applicable circular between the Ministry of Finance and LC.
