Are you passionate about working with young people who need an alternative path to education and employment? Can you build relationships, motivate and challenge them so they see their own strengths and possibilities? Then you may be our new colleague at FGU Midtjylland.

We are seeking a committed teacher with a Danish specialization for a temporary vacancy on our AGU Flex Praxis class in Viborg.

AGU Flex Praxis is a specially designed offering for young people aged 16 to 25, including those with autism spectrum disorders, anxiety or similar challenges.

The aim is to support the young people in their development towards upper secondary education, employment or other education-preparatory activity. The teaching combines academic development with a strong focus on well-being, personal development and social skills.

The group consists of a maximum of 15 students, which enables attentive teaching and strong relationships. A key part of the effort is the collaboration with business mentors and local companies, where students through work-based training and placements gain insight into the labor market and the opportunity to test their own interests and skills.

Your tasks

As a teacher you will, among other things

• Teach Danish up to D-level.
• Plan and deliver differentiated teaching based on each student's needs and potential.
• Contribute to students' academic, personal and social development.
• Actively work on well-being, motivation and belonging.
• Work closely with guidance counselors, mentors, companies and other colleagues.
• Support students' clarification regarding education and employment.

• Has teaching competence or a Danish specialization.
• Is authentic and dares to put themselves on the line in relation to the students.
• Can create clear frameworks, structure and predictability.
• Has strong relational skills and meets young people with acknowledgment, respect and high expectations.
• Believes that young people can do more than they think and can give them the kind, loving push that helps them forward.
• Sees openness, belonging and trust as central elements in working with young people.
