Instructor for the VVS education

We are looking for an engaged and skilled plumber with a desire to work with their trade and people.

You have a background in one of the specialties of the VVS education; installation technician, VVS energy specialist or VVS and tinsmith, and have a wish to convey your knowledge and experience to apprentices in the training.

You naturally are passionate about your field and want to develop pedagogically. You want to be a professional role model for apprentices at the school. Professional pride is important, but a large part of the job as a teacher is about creating relationships and formation. It is therefore also important that you want to work with people.

About you

You are outgoing and collaborative, and you are not afraid to try new ideas. You have authority and can command respect, but you also have an empathetic and patient approach to the apprentices' challenges.

You shall, together with our team of skilled and dedicated colleagues, create realistic teaching.

We expect that you have

• applied your trade in both theory and practice
• a desire to undertake pedagogical further education
• energy, overview, and openness
• good communication and presentation skills.

Experience with teaching is an advantage, but not a requirement.

Employment terms and application deadline

Employment is as a professional teacher on civil-service-like terms. Salary and pension are set according to the applicable circular between the Ministry of Finance and LC.
