Hourly paid substitute at Erritsø Fællesskole, Bygaden department

Do you want to make a difference for our students in grades 7-9 and become part of a strong collegial community?

Erritsø Fællesskole, Bygaden division, is seeking a dedicated and flexible substitute who wants to contribute to a safe, motivating and educational school day for our students in the lower secondary/upper grades.

We are looking for a substitute who can step in as needed and would like to be part of the everyday life at our school.

About the job

As a substitute you will be called in for illness and other absence in the staff. We would greatly prefer that you are a trained teacher, but you can also be considered if you have another relevant background and a desire to work with young people in the upper grades.

The work mainly consists of teaching and classroom management based on planned teaching sequences, as well as supervising students during their breaks. You will become part of a daily life where collaboration and good relationships are important, and where you always have colleagues nearby who can help you get into the tasks.

About the school

Erritsø Fællesskole is a district school with three departments and about 1,000 students from 0–9th grade. In the upper school department Bygaden we have around 280 students and 30 staff members.

We have a strong collegial community, a humorous and open culture, and close collaboration across teams and management. We place emphasis on professionalism, well-being and good relationships – both among students and staff.

We are looking for a substitute who

• is responsible, stable and good at creating calm and structure in the classroom
• has initiative, meets challenges with a positive and solution-oriented approach and IS NOT afraid to dive into new tasks – also when everyday life requires you to think quickly and find good solutions.
• meets the students with curiosity, respect and clarity
• wants to work with young people and contribute to their learning and well-being
• thrives with a varied daily life and can adapt to different teaching situations
• preferably has experience with teaching, but it is not a requirement.

Salary and conditions

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Upon appointment a criminal record certificate will be required. The appointment is conditional on the criminal record being without remarks of relevance to the performance of the specific position

Child certificate

Upon appointment, which involves work with children and young people, a child certificate will be required. The appointment is conditional on a child certificate without remarks.

Fredericia Municipality is a tobacco-free workplace.

This is a hourly substitute position with resulting varying weekly hours.

Starting date 1 January 2027 or earlier if possible.
