Humlehaven Nursing Home is seeking a trained SSH or SSA for a permanent evening shift

We are looking for a Social and Health Care Assistant or a Social and Health Care Helper who has the desire, heart and professionalism to, together with us, create the best possible framework and pleasant evenings for our residents at Humlehaven.

Start date 1. December 2026 or by agreement

The position is in principle 37 hours per week with 28 hours in a fixed evening shift, and if you wish for full time, the remaining hours will be in mixed shifts. The role includes weekend work in odd weeks, as well as Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Whether you are newly trained or have many years of experience is not the most important to us. What we value is someone who wants to be part of our already skilled team of staff and who will help create good and homely surroundings for our residents.

Nursing Home Humlehaven

Humlehaven was built in 2014 and is the Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality’s newest nursing home with space for 44 residents on 2 floors. It is easy to reach Humlehaven from all of Funen, as we are close to the highway. Humlehaven is a smoke-free nursing home.

The house hums with life. There are many volunteers and activities offered to residents on most days of the week.

At Humlehaven we are proud that as of 3 October 2025 we were registered as an Eden Alternative place. This means that we work from the Eden Alternative Philosophy, where we actively work to create a home where many forms of life thrive, both individually and in community. We offer a 3-day training program in Eden Alternative.

About you

You are trained as a SSA or SSH and you want to bring both your professionalism and your personality into play with us. You thrive in the company of residents, their families and everyone who comes into the house, and you have an eye for creating presence and joy of life in everyday life. You can plan and prioritise your tasks, but you also find creative solutions when new needs arise. Collaboration is important to you – both with your colleagues and with students, and you contribute to making Humlehaven a nice and developing place for everyone.

About the position

As an employee with us you will be the contact person and together with the team create good frames for the resident's daily life. Your tasks will include, among others:

• Contribute to coherence in residents' pathways through good observations and documentation. We use Nexus, so it is an advantage if you know the system; otherwise there is a good opportunity for training
• Close contact with residents, families, partners and volunteers
• Medication management
• Perform basic nursing care and rehabilitation
• Coordinate and share knowledge within teams

Employment terms

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
