At the Anesthesia and Intensive Care unit, Hospital Lillebælt, Kolding Hospital, there are 2 introductory positions in Anesthesiology available to fill on January 1 and March 1, 2027. The employment dates are fixed.

Kolding Hospital is the acute care hospital for the Triangle Region and receives patients with trauma as well as acute medical and surgical conditions from the entire Triangle Area.

Who are we

The medical group currently consists of 25 specialists and 10 doctors in training positions.

The shift is covered by 2 specialists handling anesthesia and intensive care, as well as a younger doctor. All have on-site coverage.

The department has an ambitious training profile and is a sought-after training department.

We have an active research environment with one professor, a research fellow, one postdoc and currently a PhD student affiliated with the department.

The department comprises

• Anesthesia Department with orthopedic surgery, spine surgery, vascular surgery, organ surgery as well as gynecology and obstetrics.
• Short-stay and Recovery Ward
• Intensive care unit with 11 beds for highly specialized intensive therapy
• Day surgery department
• Emergency Medical Transport Kolding with around-the-clock staffing
• Regional Special Dental Care
• Clinical Simulation Unit anchored in the department

Salary and terms of employment for the position follow under Subordinate Doctors - Agreement 33.06.1 - salary as of 01.10.2026. The starting salary for the position can be found via the following link: See starting salary for positions in Region of Southern Denmark .

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.
