At HB-Care we are specialists in passenger transport and ensure every day that our customers get safely from A to B – around the clock. Our activities are spread across the country with four locations on Zealand and in Jutland and around 600 drivers on the roads, who every day rely on well-functioning IT solutions and effective support.

As our new IT operations supporter you will be part of a dedicated IT operations team that supports our business daily with good IT solutions and efficient support. You report to our IT Chief and work closely with your colleagues as well as external IT service partners.

Our core task is to ensure stable IT operations and deliver professional, approachable support so that our colleagues have the best conditions to succeed in their work.

At the same time HB-Care has an ambitious plan for the development of our IT area. We are working purposefully to strengthen and modernize our IT solutions so we can optimize both our operations planning and central business processes. Your primary tasks

You will have a varied daily life where you both work with daily IT support and contribute to maintaining and improving our IT solutions.

Your tasks include, among other things

• Provide professional and approachable IT support to colleagues across the organization, including our drivers on the roads – both remote and on-site.
• Handle and follow up IT support cases, including troubleshooting as well as incident- and problem-management.
• Prepare and set up workstations, mobile phones and other IT equipment for new and existing employees.
• Manage user rights and access to relevant IT systems.
• Contribute to monitoring and maintaining networks, servers, storage, operating systems and applications in collaboration with our IT service partner.
• Participate in procurement and administration of hardware, software and IT services.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, procedures and user guides.
• Contribute to continuous improvements of our IT processes, information security and support.
• Participate in internal IT projects and implementation of new solutions that support our operations planning and central business processes.

You will have the opportunity to take independent responsibility for your tasks, while having colleagues to bounce ideas off.

About you

We imagine you are an IT generalist with good technical understanding and a desire to learn. You may be trained as an IT supporter, computer scientist, data technician or have an equivalent relevant background. You may be at the start of your career or already have experience from a similar role.

We value that you

• Have a good technical understanding and an interest in both IT operations and user support.
• Work in a structured way and can keep an overview when several tasks require your attention.
• Desire to develop your skills and learn new systems and technologies.
• Preferably have knowledge of ITIL and the related processes.
