Technical IT Support Specialist – Servers, Networks and Cloud

Are you good at technical troubleshooting, and do you like solving problems?

At Rackhosting we are looking for a self-driven and service-minded IT support specialist for our technical team.

We are not a traditional IT helpdesk. Our customers are mainly IT companies, IT departments and developers who need help with their servers, networks and hosting environments.

We are looking for you who take responsibility for technical inquiries, work systematically with troubleshooting and get the tasks solved.

Your tasks

• Handling and troubleshooting technical support cases.
• Support on Linux and Windows servers.
• Troubleshooting on networks, DNS, firewall and VPN.
• Administration of virtual servers and cloud environments.
• Operational tasks including backup, certificates and access management.
• Technical customer dialogue and collaboration with our specialists.

Who are you?

You have practical experience with technical IT support or server operations, preferably from a hosting company, MSP or IT operations organization.

We emphasize that you

• Have a good technical understanding of servers and networks.
• Can work independently and follow tasks through to completion.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Are curious, structured and solution-oriented.

Experience with Linux, virtualization, Fortinet, Veeam or scripting is an advantage, but not a requirement.

You do not need to be a specialist. We have experienced system administrators you can spar with. The most important is your technical understanding and ability to solve problems.
