At Rigshospitalet, some of the most complex treatments in Denmark take place. Every day, doctors, nurses, researchers and administrative staff work together to create the best pathways for patients and their families. But no treatment, research or clinical decision starts with technology that doesn't work.

Therefore we are looking for an IT support specialist who will help ensure that the staff at Rigshospitalet have the support they need. You will become part of the upcoming Digitisation and Technology (DIT) in Region Østdanmark and come very close to a world where technology and health go hand in hand.

As an IT support specialist in our On-Site at Rigshospitalet you are visible to users and an important part of their daily life. You move around the hospital, solve concrete challenges and help staff move forward when technology lets them down. Some days you install new equipment and ready workstations. Other days you troubleshoot PCs, printers or mobile devices so a department can quickly continue. A common thread is that you can see the effect of your work immediately. You become part of an experienced team where cooperation, helpfulness and professionalism go hand in hand.

A role with both technology and people

You will work with support, provisioning and maintenance of IT equipment at Rigshospitalet and become an important contact for many different user groups. It requires technical understanding, but just as much the ability to meet people professionally and create calm when something does not work as expected. Therefore we believe you will thrive in the role if you:

• have an IT professional background or solid experience with technical support
• are motivated by helping others and delivering good service
• can communicate with clinicians, researchers and administrative staff
• work in a structured way and take responsibility for your tasks
• have experience with or interest in Windows-based workplaces and modern IT equipment

If you have knowledge of ServiceNow, Active Directory or SCCM, that's an advantage, but not essential.

Salary and employment terms

Employment is according to one of the agreements below. Starting salary may vary depending on your seniority, experience, education and the geographic location of the workplace.

In addition to starting salary you may have

• right to allowances under local pre-agreements.
• right to special allowances, e.g. for evening, night and weekend work.
• possibility to negotiate individual allowances depending on the position as well as your experience and qualifications.

Working time is 37 hours per week and the primary workplace will be at Rigshospitalet, Blegdamsvej 58, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, but there will be meetings and activities at the upcoming Region Østdanmarks other locations, including Borgervænget 5 in Østerbro and in Ringsted.

On 1 January 2027 Region Hovedstaden and Region Sjælland will be merged into Region Østdanmark. In the new region, the corporate operations area Digitalisation and Technology (DIT) will be established, with about 1,600 employees, making it Denmark's largest public center for health technology.
