At JOBVejle we are looking for two permanent job counselors for the sickness benefit area. In addition we are seeking a job counselor for a 1-year project position focusing on young sickness benefit recipients under 30 years old.

About the job

In the sickness benefit area we work purposefully to ensure that sick-listed citizens achieve a rapid and sustainable return to the labor market. We believe that the best results are created through close collaboration with both citizens and companies, based on each citizen's resources and possibilities.

We meet citizens with high expectations, respect and trust. Through dialogue and shared responsibility we support active pathways where companies play a central role in the way back to the labor market.

We work from the principle of one continuous job counselor. This means that you follow the citizen through the entire process and are responsible for both the authority task and the company-oriented effort. Thus we ensure coherence, continuity and strong relationships in the effort.

Your tasks

As a job counselor your primary tasks will be to

• hold conversations with a focus on progression and return to the labor market.
• create and develop collaboration with companies on partial recovery, paid hours and other employment opportunities.
• conduct assessments of incapacity for work under the sickness benefit act § 7.
• prepare cases for assessment regarding disability pension and flex jobs.
• participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration and actively contribute to the development of interventions, workflows and professional solutions in complex citizen pathways.

We expect that you

• are educated as a social worker or social mediator.
• have experience/knowledge of the employment field, preferably within sickness benefits.
• have knowledge of relevant legislation and can translate it into concrete solutions in practice.
• are strong in relationship work and can create trusting collaborations with citizens, companies and partners.
• can navigate confidently in the authority role and thrive in a goal-oriented organization.
• work independently, structured and systematic and at the same time actively contribute to a good collegial community.
• communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing.
• can keep calm in a busy everyday life and think creatively in solving tasks.
• have a positive mindset and preferably a good sense of humor along the way.
• are curious about your own practice and learning and want to be an active sparring partner for your colleagues.

JOBVejle has approximately 270 employees distributed across four addresses.

Every day we work to help companies with the workforce they need and to support citizens' path to work or education.

In the sickness benefit area we are about 60 dedicated job counselors and benefit counselors. We are organized in smaller teams where sparring, reflection and joint development are a natural part of everyday life. Here there is room for both professional discussions, curiosity about new solutions and a good laugh in a busy daily life.

We are also in an exciting development, where we continuously adapt organization and interventions to solve the core task in the best possible way.

Employment terms

There are 2 permanent and 1 temporary positions. The positions are 37 hours per week.

Salary in accordance with New Pay and applicable collective agreement.

The expected starting salary for full-time and exclusive of pension lies in the range DKK 33,491.50 (pay grade 32) - DKK 37,505.26 (pay grade 38 + base pay) in accordance with the collective agreement for municipal-employed social workers and social mediators §§ 3-6 on salary determination.

Please note that final placement, including the collective agreement basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
