Experienced dispatcher sought for our tourist bus division at VTS

Do you have experience scheduling tourist buses, a good overview and a desire to take responsibility in a fast-paced company? Then we might have the job for you.

At Vojens Taxi Service ApS – colloquially VTS – we are very busy in our tourist bus department. Therefore we are looking for an experienced and committed dispatcher, who will be a partner with Per Madsen in our office in Vojens.

We operate both in Denmark and abroad and have a wide range of skilled drivers who, every day, help give our customers great experiences.

We are not looking for just an employee who can lay out a driving schedule. We are looking for a person who takes responsibility, has an overview and knows what it takes to make a tourist bus business function – even when things do not go exactly as planned.

Your tasks

You will become a central part of the daily operation of our tourist bus department, where you in close cooperation with Transport Manager Per Madsen among other things will work with:

• Planning and scheduling our tourist buses and drivers.
• Customer contact, preparing offers and follow-up on driving tasks.
• Coordination of tours in both Denmark and abroad.
• Handling changes, urgent situations and challenges in the daily operation.
• Ensuring a high level of service to both customers and drivers.
• Development and optimization of our tourist bus business.

You will have a varied daily life with both responsibility and influence, where it is important that you can work independently and at the same time be part of a strong team.

Who are you?

We expect that you have experience with dispatching and planning bus operations as well as solid knowledge of the tourist bus industry.

You know what is required to make ends meet when you have to take into account customers, drivers, vehicles and driving and rest times rules.

• Can maintain an overview, even when many balls are in the air.
• Are flexible and not afraid to take responsibility.
• Are good at communicating with customers, drivers and colleagues.
• Have a practical approach to things and would rather find a solution than a problem.
• Thrive in a busy everyday life where two days are rarely the same.

It is a clear advantage if you have a bus driving license and are prepared to jump behind the wheel yourself when needed.

Tourist buses operate at all times of the day and night, both on weekdays and weekends. Therefore it is important that you understand that situations may arise where your contribution is needed outside normal office hours.

We do not expect you to be at work around the clock, but we are looking for a colleague who takes ownership and is ready to go the extra mile when the situation requires it.

At our office in Vojens we are 12 administrative staff, and we have a really good team spirit.
