Restaurant Abigail in Axel Towers is looking for an ambitious cook apprentice who desires more than just an apprentice placement. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in gastronomy and want to develop your craft in a professional kitchen with high ambitions.

AN APPRENTICESHIP WITH AMBITIONS

As a cook apprentice at Abigail you will become part of the kitchen from day one.

You will work closely with our chefs and have the opportunity to develop yourself in both classical techniques and modern gastronomy. You will be challenged, given responsibility and learn to understand the whole process behind a dish—from the individual ingredient and the first mise en place to the final service.

You will, among other things, be working with

• Season's best ingredients
• Classical and modern preparation techniques
• Sauces, stocks, fermentation and preservation
• Flavor composition, textures and balance
• Precision and aesthetics in plating
• Mise en place and service at a high level
• Development and seasoning of new dishes
• Utilization of ingredients and respect for the whole product

You don’t need to know everything yet. The most important is that you want to learn it .
