Parish clerk wanted

The position as parish clerk (kordegn) in Elling/Strandby/Jerup parish, with the primary workplace at Elling Sognegård, is vacant and to be filled on 1 January 2027 or by agreement.

What will you do

• Personal registration and citizen services: In collaboration with the parish registrar priest responsible for the parish's civil registration (births, names, marriages, deaths) as well as daily service at the parish office.
• Accounting and finance: Daily bookkeeping, accounts payable management, invoice handling and ongoing budget monitoring in close cooperation with the parish council treasurer.
• Supports the parish council's personnel officer and treasurer with personnel administration tasks.
• Secretarial duties for priests, parish council as well as committees and functions under the parish council
• IT tasks: Updating the church's digital platforms and administrative ad-hoc tasks in the office, including GDPR.

The appointment will be covered by the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and CO10 – Central Organization of 2010 and the Organizational Agreement between the Ministry of Church and CO10 – Central Organization of 2010 for church officials with core duties as respectively parish clerk, church and culture worker or church musician and the accompanying protocol for parish clerks.

Current civil service parish clerks have the right to retain their civil servant status when employed with a direct transition. In that case, a reclassification of the position must take place

It is a condition that the mandatory 5 weeks training for parish clerks is completed within 2 years after the start of employment, if it has not already been completed.

There is an obligation to render service at other employing authorities in the provostry in accordance with the agreements the parish council has entered into/has entered into with other employing authorities.

The position is placed in pay grade 2.

The annual salary is agreed within the interval of DKK 350,435 – 442,216 (current kroner).

OK24 allowance of DKK 3,476 (current kroner) per year.

Salary and OK allowance are prorated in accordance with the position's appointment fraction.

An agreement on placement in the pay range is entered into between the parish council and the Danish Parish Clerks Association.
