Do you want to make going to school fun, then we are seeking a full-time teacher as of 1 November 2026 (or preferably earlier) for the AK-class/Skoven special offer.

Skørping School has three streams with about 600 students spread across 0th-9th grade and the AK-class and Skoven special classes with about 150 students and 70 teachers and pedagogues.

AK-class/AK-Skoven is a special department for normally gifted children with special needs distributed in 5 sections - three physically at the school and two about 1-5 km from the school.

The advertised position is at Skørping School in the AK-class middle school section.

We are currently seeking a teacher with teaching competence in mathematics to teach the middle grades. In addition, we are very interested in who you are, and that you fit well with your team, as team collaboration is an important fundamental component of the work with us.

AK-class is targeted at normally gifted children with difficulties in relation to behavior and/or contact, where students often have various diagnoses such as autism, anxiety, ADHD, etc., while the target group in Skoven are children who require a very sheltered offer.

Work in the AK-class/Skoven is based on the principle that it should be fun to go to school. Many of the children have a difficult and setback-filled school history that we try to reverse through motivating teaching environments carried by engaged staff and innovative/creative pedagogical approaches. We work based on a neuro-sequential pedagogical approach, as well as low arousal.

In addition, we always have various ongoing initiatives to ensure that we challenge our children and young people to develop their full potential, just as many of the children have such complex problems that it challenges your creativity in terms of rethinking pedagogical approaches. Staff work in self-managing teams, which provides good opportunities to influence your daily life.
