Teacher wanted for Præstegårdsskolen, Line S, Kvaglund Department

Line S at Kvaglundskolen in Esbjerg Municipality seeks a teacher for a permanent position with start on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible. You must have a strong interest in working with children and young people within the special education area, and be able to participate physically actively in various activities. It is an advantage if you have mathematics and German on the same line. The position is between 32 and 37 hours per week.

Line S is a segregated school offer for students in Esbjerg Municipality. The target group is students from 0th – 9th grade with a combination of severe social, emotional, cognitive, communicative and/or relational difficulties. There will often be talk of complex difficulties as well as students with diagnoses within the autism spectrum, ADHD etc.

These are students who, due to their functional level and challenges, have not benefited from the offer in a mainstream class. In order for the student to be offered schooling at Line S, the student must be admitted via the central admissions board, DUS.

Line S currently has about 110 students aged 6 - 17 years distributed over 0th-9th grade, and there are currently 23 teachers and 24 pedagogues employed, who work closely in class teams.
