Do you want to help move the school's practice? Then you may be the one we are looking for.

At Damhusengens Skole we believe that children and young people should have the opportunity to be part of the school's communities, and that it is our joint task to develop practice so that even more can succeed.

Therefore we are looking for two guides/mentors who want to get close to practice and help develop it with the aim that as many of our pupils as possible get good participation opportunities.

You will become part of the Pedagogical Resource Center (PRC), where we work closely with teachers and educators on learning environments, well-being, participation and development. You will work with both preventive and concrete initiatives and with finding solutions that can function in the real daily school life.

We imagine that you have a mentoring/guide training, but we are at least as interested in what you will use your professional knowledge for.

We are looking for you who

• are passionate about developing practice – not just advising about it
• have an eye for what creates or limits children's opportunities to participate
• can translate special educational needs knowledge into concrete tools in classrooms and communities
• are keen to work with co-teaching, observation, action learning and practice-oriented guidance as well as teaching
• can facilitate processes and create buy-in around new ways of working
• dare to be curious, try new things, evaluate and adjust along the way
• can see both the individual child and the community the child is part of
• thrive in a cross-professional environment and believe that we succeed best together
• are a trained teacher or educator with relevant continuing education

You must want to be where development happens

For us, guidance is not something that takes place at a distance from practice. We want to be close to the children, the classes and colleagues.

You can therefore expect a daily life where you both guide, observe, investigate, try out, facilitate and yourself enter into practice and be an active part of it.

You will have the opportunity to influence the development of PRC and the school's work with inclusive learning environments and participation opportunities.

We are a professionally strong team with different competencies and guides/mentors including among others LKT, DSA, reading, Danish and mathematics. We would like to become even better at making our different professionalities work together and create solutions that can be felt in practice.

You get energy from standing alongside a teacher or educator in a complex situation and thinking: “What can we do differently?”

You are focused on how we can organize ourselves, teach and create communities in new ways, so more children have the opportunity to participate.

And you have both professionalism, curiosity and courage to help move practice.

Employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation.

The positions are full-time. Start date December 1, 2026.

In connection with the appointment we will obtain a child protection and criminal record certificate as well as references.
