Lawyer or 3rd-year associate for the corporate team

Do you want to work broadly with corporate/commercial law while gaining experience with litigation and insolvency?

We are seeking a junior lawyer or 3rd-year associate to our Corporate/Business team.

Here you will work on different types of corporate law matters and advise companies on the legal issues that arise in their everyday business and development.

You do not need to have already chosen your specialization. We are primarily looking for a skilled lawyer with a solid corporate law foundation who wants to work broadly and develop as an advisor.

Your tasks

As part of the corporate team, you will among other things work with

• general corporate/commercial-law advice
• contracts and commercial agreements
• corporate-law issues
• disputes and lawsuits
• insolvency-law issues and bankruptcy cases.

How your tasks are composed depends both on your experience and on what you would like to work more with.

You will work closely with experienced lawyers, but you will also have independent responsibility. Depending on your experience you will have responsibility for your own cases, direct contact with clients and the possibility to conduct your own litigation.

We often work together on a client or case. This provides ongoing sparring and the ability to draw on colleagues from other areas when needed.

Your professional development and career

You do not need to have decided in advance which specialization will define your career with us.

Maybe you will specialize in a particular area over time. Maybe you thrive best as the broad corporate advisor. There should be room for both.

We have a career structure that allows you to take more responsibility as you develop – initially for your own cases and clients, and eventually also a larger role in the team and the company.

If you are a 3rd-year associate, we will of course ensure that the final part of your tenure as an associate aligns with what you still need toward your appointment. If you are already a solicitor, we will base it on your experience and discuss where you would like to go from here.

Who are you?

We envision that you are a 3rd-year associate or junior lawyer and have already worked with corporate/commercial issues.

You do not need to be a specialist. Instead you should be curious about the client's business and want to find solutions that work in practice – not only legally.

You take responsibility for your cases, work thoroughly and enjoy direct contact with clients. You can work independently, but also know when a case benefits from being discussed with a colleague.
