Experienced lawyer for estates and inheritance law sought in Copenhagen

Recruitment Djursland is seeking on behalf of a legal advisory firm in Copenhagen an experienced lawyer for a permanent position.

The role is aimed at you who can independently manage your own cases, thrives on client contact and seeks more freedom, flexibility and professional influence in daily work.

Estate administration will become a central area of work. The position also includes tasks within inheritance and family law as well as real estate.

Your responsibilities

You will among other things work with

• Independent handling of estates from first client contact to final completion
• Preparation of opening status and estate accounts
• Handling of larger or more complex estates
• Handling of estates with potential international aspects
• Contact and coordination with the Probate Court, Tax Authority, banks and other relevant parties
• Advising heirs, legatees and the deceased's survivors
• Drafting of wills, marriage contracts and durable powers of attorney
• Handling of inheritance and family law issues
• Advice within real estate
• Preparation and registration of deeds
• Independent management of own client and case portfolio

We are looking for someone who

• Is admitted as a lawyer
• Has solid practical experience with probate administration
• Can independently drive own cases from start to finish
• Has experience with opening status and estate accounts
• Thrives with client contact and complex case processes
• Has strong legal judgment
• Works in a structured, professional and solution-oriented manner
• Desires responsibility and professional freedom without unnecessary micromanagement
• Is familiar with digital case management systems and modern workflows
• Ideally has a broad private law profile

Solid experience with probate administration is the essential requirement. Experience with larger estates, insolvent estates or estates with international aspects is a clear advantage.
