Apply for this job As a lawyer in the Personal Injury Team you will have the opportunity to combine legal immersion, litigation, and practical claims handling in a professionally strong team with extensive experience in the personal injury field.

The position gives you a central role in the department, where you combine litigation with personal injury handling and legal sparring. About half of the job will involve litigation in different areas of personal injury, while the other part will primarily consist of handling personal injury cases and professional sparring. You will have a lot of independence in your cases and the opportunity to bring your legal expertise into play across the department. There will also be opportunities to contribute your legal expertise in relevant development and business tasks.

What do we expect from you?

• You are a lawyer or an experienced trainee lawyer and have preferably at least three years of relevant experience from e.g. the legal profession, the insurance industry, or a relevant legal function.
• You have experience handling personal injury cases as a lawyer and a solid knowledge of tort law.
• You have practical experience with litigation and experience in independently handling cases in court .
• You thrive with a high degree of independent responsibility and naturally take ownership of your cases.
• You want to share your knowledge, spar with colleagues, contribute to training, and help develop the shared professional knowledge.
• You work in a structured way and keep an overview, even when many cases are ongoing.
• You place a high value on collaboration and contribute positively to a casual and professionally strong working environment.

What will your work tasks be?

• Conduct various types of personal injury cases in the courts and have responsibility for the case from strategy and preparation to main hearing and conclusion.
• Handle personal injury cases, primarily under the liability for damages act.
• Provide legal and strategic sparring in complex personal injury cases and principled issues.
• Share your knowledge and actively contribute to the professional development in the team and our common workflows.
• Contribute with your legal expertise in relevant development and business tasks.

The Personal Injury Team consists of 10 colleagues and dedicated students who emphasize personal service and thorough, proper claims handling.

The team is divided into professional groups, but we also believe in interdisciplinarity and broad knowledge sharing. Therefore we are looking for a colleague who wants to collaborate closely with others and help develop both colleagues and the department.
