Who are we?

The Child and Family Department consists of a total of 40 employees distributed in teams; the Visitation Team, the Special Team, the Child and Youth Team divided into North and South districts, the Foster Care Team, a contract negotiator and a development consultant.

We have prioritized a daily life with close management that has time and presence for the employees.

The Child and Youth Team is divided into North and South districts. In Team SOUTH we are a mix of new and experienced colleagues who work with the entire target group from 0-23 years and all interventions from prevention to placements.

Your profile

• You are educated as social worker or social facilitator
• have experience with authority work with children and young people.
• have a high level of expertise, are trustworthy and have a good grasp of legislation
• can work systematically
• find it exciting and thrive in working with cases of high complexity
• have knowledge of ICS and DUBU
• have good humor and wish to contribute to an appreciative culture where we have fun together.

We have strong professional ambitions for the department and want even stronger professional collaboration between all teams, among other things by using common professional methods throughout the department.

The authority area consists of a Special Team with 5 child and youth advisors, a Visitation Team with 6 child and youth advisors, Child and Youth Teams North and South with 8 and 9 child and youth advisors respectively, and a Foster Care Team with 3 foster care consultants. In addition, we have a social work contract negotiator and a development consultant. The management consists of an authority head, and three team leaders.

The family area also includes a family house, youth housing, support and contact persons, special education offers and a children’s house. We work closely with PPR, health services, and the school and day care sector.

We are not far from exit 23, and we are only a 10-minute walk from Rødovre Centrum, where there are good connections with public transport, so you can easily reach us. There is also free parking in the area.

Salary and terms of employment

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement and in accordance with the negotiating organization. It is 1 full-time position in Team SOUTH with start as soon as possible or January 1, 2027.
