Make a difference in the evening shift as SSH or SSA – with a short workweek and professional development

Two of our skilled employees are going on retirement, and therefore we are currently seeking a professionally strong social- and health care assistant and a social- and health care helper for the two available evening shift positions.

A little about the care home

Huset Dorthe is a self-governing care home in Rødovre, consisting of six departments spread over three floors with a total of 90 residents.

We are looking for two skilled colleagues for a well-functioning evening shift team who can help ensure that residents receive the best possible care and nursing every day.

Everyday life at Huset Dorthe is based on the fact that all residents, after an individual assessment and expectation alignment, are offered support and care in accordance with their wishes and needs, and that the help they receive is provided with respect, empathy and professionalism.

About the job

At Huset Dorthe we work with residents who need presence and structure in everyday life. Several of our residents have cognitive challenges, which means that you as our evening shift need to have good pedagogical skills.

We therefore focus on

• Safety- and relationship-building work
• Low arousal and conflict-de-escalation approach
• Professional reflection and development

The position is organized as

· Fixed evening shift pattern 5/2

· You start from 15:00 – 23:00

· Long week in odd weeks with a shift every Wednesday and Thursday
