At AutoVidencenter Vejle we are currently seeking a skilled mechanic who wants to share their professional knowledge and enthusiasm and help shape the next generation of truck mechanics.

Syddansk Erhvervsskole in Vejle is home to the country’s largest truck mechanic education. We train the future specialists in service, fault-finding and repair of trucks and heavy vehicles. We combine modern workshop facilities with strong practical teaching and close collaboration with the industry.

The department is characterized by high professionalism, engagement and a focus on the students' development.

We are currently expanding the team and are seeking more new colleagues to teach in the main program for truck mechanics.

You will become part of Syddansk Erhvervsskole in Vejle, which altogether has around 180 employees and offers 19 vocational educations. In the truck department we are 17 employees, of whom currently 8 are teachers, who will be your closest colleagues in the collaboration around the students.

Employment

The position is full-time with salary and employment in accordance with the Ministry of Education's regulations in a civil service-like position. Remuneration is on base pay scale steps 1-7 according to central agreement. Starting salary is negotiated according to local agreement after an assessment of, among other things, previous teaching experience. In addition there is a fully employer-paid pension scheme at 18%.

Working time is 37 hours per week on average including breaks.

If you do not already have sufficient pedagogical qualifications, you will need to complete a diploma programme in vocational pedagogy or the adult educator education after the school's assessment. The pedagogical diploma is included in the employment.

The position is to commence on 01-02-2027 - or as soon as possible. The workplace is in Vejle.
