Night shifts wanted at Dybenskærhave

Now you have a unique opportunity to be involved from the very start! Be part of building a new dementia section at Dybenskærhave Nursing Home, where the framework is in place, and you get the opportunity to put your own professional stamp close to the residents and shape the culture, collaboration and everyday life in our new team.

We are looking for two night shift positions, an SSA for our new dementia section and an SSH for our general nursing section, both positions are on the 2nd floor.

About the job

With us you become an important part of the residents' daily life and you will help to

• ensure calm and safe handovers between shifts
• take care of nursing, care and nursing tasks
• work in a person-centered way with a basis in the individual resident
• handle incomprehensible behaviour in residents with professional calm and overview
• document in CURA and follow up on actions

All of this you do in close collaboration with your colleagues, professionals and the relatives, who are also important sparring partners regarding the resident's lived life and quality of life, which is a great value for the entire Dybenskærhave. Collaboration – across and close

As SSH you help across the 2nd floor, and participate in an interdisciplinary collaboration with other colleagues in the house.

As SSA you will be primary for the 12 residents who live in the dementia section, and be part of the interdisciplinary collaboration with the day and evening teams in the dementia specialty.

On the 2nd floor we have a strong collaboration where we help each other and lift together with colleagues across the house, so we share knowledge and strengthen professionalism. In addition you will be part of an interdisciplinary team in the section with SsAs, SSHs, nurses and social educators.

You will work closely with your department head Jeanette, who is passionate about the dementia area, and we are also developing a strong collaboration with Torndalshave, our other dementia department, located on a separate property.

Who are you?

We envision that you are an SSA or SSH. Perhaps you have experience with dementia. Perhaps you are newly trained or come with experience from another area. We help you get started well and ensure you are professionally equipped and receive the support you need.

About Dybenskærhave

Dybenskærhave comprises a total of 4 departments; 3 departments with 24 residents each, of which one department is split into a dementia section and a care section that work closely together. In addition, 1 dementia department, Torndalshave, with 12 residents, located on a separate site. Around residents, relatives and staff stands a strong interdisciplinary team consisting of: the activity team, the service team, the nutrition team, two quality nurses, of whom one is clinical supervisor, student supervisor and the administration team as well as our newly hired duty planner.

Working hours

The working hours for the SSA position for night shift in the dementia specialty are from 23:15-07:15 and the other position as SSH for the general ward from 23:15-07:15. You work 7-7 SSH for odd weeks and SSA for even weeks.
