About the job

Do you want to help create coherent solutions together with the citizens?

Are you a social worker, a social facilitator, or do you have another relevant education, you could be one of our new colleagues in the Authority.

We are seeking engaged employees for two permanent authority caseworker positions and a maternity cover. We are looking for new colleagues who want to work with adults with disabilities, mental health challenges or complex social issues. We work from a new citizen-centric view, with the citizen's wishes, resources and possibilities as the basis for the collaboration. Our shared task is to support a meaningful everyday life with the greatest possible independence and the opportunity to participate in communities.

A place for you in our new organization

With our new organization we focus on clear entry points, strong professional communities and coherence in the citizens' processes.

We strengthen the authority area to create greater consistency in case processing, high professional quality and better opportunities for systematic follow-ups. The aim is that citizens meet an authority that works professionally and with a view to the overall situation.

In dialogue with you we will consider both your experience and professional interests as well as the department's tasks and needs.

An authority area in development

We are working in a field in motion. In Holbæk Municipality there is political support to strengthen the authority work with more caseworkers and a focus on frequent, systematic follow-ups. This is to ensure that help matches the citizen's current needs and supports the citizen's resources, independence and development.

As an authority department we are part of several joint development tasks. We collaborate, among other things, on recovery-oriented rehabilitation, the Municipal Youth Initiative (KUI) and cohesive citizen pathways across Holbæk Municipality.

Your tasks and collaboration with citizens

In the Authority we work with a wide range of tasks in the specialized adult area. We are responsible, among other things, for authority responsibilities for compensating services, citizen-driven schemes, social-pedagogical support and residential facilities.

The department is divided into specialized teams. Intake team, Youth team, Caseworker team and Specialist team, and the department is part of the Homelessness Unit in Holbæk Municipality.

Depending on your area of responsibility you will work with counseling, assessment, preparation of decisions and follow-up on interventions. It provides a varied everyday life with the opportunity to apply your professional skills and develop them together with others.

The department supports about 1,550 citizens with different support needs, from help with structure in daily life to extensive support in residential facilities.

You will play an important role in collaboration with citizens, relatives, colleagues from other professional areas and services. It requires that you can listen, create dialogue and convey professional assessments and decisions clearly and respectfully.

We work with VUM 2.0 in systematic assessment and follow-up and have come far with the implementation.

Together we can do more

You do not need to know everything yourself. We help each other and know that no one can know everything, but that together we can achieve a lot. Therefore sparring, sharing knowledge and joint reflection are an important part of our everyday life.

Together with the rest of Adults, Disability and Psychiatry, we work to enable adults to live a meaningful life with development, communities and opportunities for participation. We meet citizens with respect and curiosity and emphasize finding solutions together with them.
