The position in Skovbo can be combined as an evening/night shift or as a day/night shift, depending on preference.

Day shifts and the evening shift will be planned in the Skovbo department.

You will as a night shift participate in a fixed rotation with colleagues from all 6 departments, so you will also become familiar with several of the residents across the entire Center Sukkertoppen.

There are 3 night shifts; you are awake during the night shift and you sit together during the night, where you help with tasks that may arise during the night.

About us

Sukkertoppen is a social-psychiatric supported housing facility in Vejle Municipality. We have space for 46 residents distributed across 5 departments. We also have a night warming room that is open from 21:00–08:00.

What we expect from you

• You must have a education as a nurse, social and health assistant, pedagog or similar
• You must know your profession and especially have competencies in collaboration with other people and in creating development
• You must in particular be curious about other people and their life situation. You must be able to engage interest in and inquire into another person in a way that they feel met and understood
• You must be inclusive and trust-building and be able to meet others with authenticity, warmth and honesty
• You must be able to collaborate closely with other professional groups on complex psychosocial tasks, and you must be able to give and receive constructive feedback
• You must also be able to engage in close interaction with colleagues and management
• You must know and respect your own and others’ boundaries and be good at communicating clearly and directly in a caring way
• You must be able to act independently and keep calm in pressured situations
• You must be able to see yourself in working purposefully with Sukkertoppen’s vision, which is “We are ONE Sukkertoppen, We are brave with will, We dare to shape life and the future

Working hours and shifts

The position is 32-37 hours per week. You will have a mix of day and night shifts or evening-night shifts, as well as weekends and holidays (on average every 3rd weekend, in a basic 12-week cycle).

You are educated as a nurse, social and health assistant, pedagog or similar.

You thrive in collaboration with others and know how to support people in their development. You are curious about other people and their life situations and want to understand their perspectives.

You are able to remain calm and act professionally, even when daily life becomes busy or challenging.
