So this could be exactly you we are looking for to join our night team at Postens Vej.

About the positions

We are looking for 2 engaged and caring night workers – one in a permanent position and one for a maternity leave cover at 32-37 hours per week with start as soon as possible.

You will become an important part of our 24-hour facility for adult residents with reduced mental and physical functioning.

At night, your main task is to create safety and support for the residents, including

• Supervision and support as needed
• Assistance with personal care and toilet visits
• Medication administration
• Documentation of important events
• Practical tasks such as cleaning and preparation for the morning.

As a night worker you will work independently in one house, but you will have close contact with the other night workers in the other houses.

About the resident group

You will be working with adult residents with varying degrees of psychological and physical disabilities. Their development level ranges from a few months to about 10 years. This means a wide range of needs, where some residents require guidance and structure, while others also require extensive help with personal care and support.

About us

The housing community Postens Vej is located in scenic surroundings in Brejning and consists of 6 houses with smaller communities, where around 90 residents live. The houses are designed with a focus on safe, homely and clear settings, where each resident can live as independently and meaningfully as possible.

As part of Postens Vej we also have Bakkevænget, which is our activity and learning offer with various activities including, among other things, music, nature, exercise, creative activities, cooking and sensory stimulation.

We are a large and diverse workplace with many different professional areas, where we help each other and share the tasks. You will therefore be part of both a close community in the individual house and a larger professional environment.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who want to work with people with special needs and who thrive in night work and can stay calm, even when it is quiet.

You are present, responsible and good at creating a sense of safety.

It is an advantage to have flair for IT and documentation. Of course, a thorough introduction will be provided.

Perhaps you have experience from similar positions – but this is not a requirement.

Employment terms

NOTE: Interviews are held, and recruitment is ongoing – so do not hold back.

Working hours: 23:00-07:00

Work schedule: 7/7 rotation and work every other weekend

The position: 32-37 hours per week

Salary: In accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Ny Løn principles. The salary range will be provided when invited to an interview.

As soon as possible or by 1 January 2027.
