About us

Marienlund is part of area 2, which также includes the residential facilities Frydenslund and Solbakkevej as well as the Activity Offer Frydenslund.

At Marienlund, 24 wonderful people with varying degrees of developmental disabilities live here and therefore need support, guidance and assistance with personal care.

Our approach is appreciative and relational, and we use among other things KRAP, sensory integration, and AAC (alternative augmentative communication) such as TTT, pictures, pictograms and concretes. We take care to create safe environments and meaningful activities that strengthen the citizens' quality of life and development regardless of where in life they are.

We work with respect for the individual person’s right to self-determination and involvement. Based on Borgeren ved Roret we start from the citizen's wishes, resources and goals and support the individual's ability to make their own choices and have influence on their own life. We believe that all people have the right to be met with dignity, recognition and respect, regardless of their starting points.

Your profile

We are looking for a professionally strong, engaged and curious colleague who will contribute to the team at Marienlund. With us there are several different professional backgrounds under the same roof, so you may be qualified as a social educator, pedagogical assistant, occupational therapist or social and health care assistant – the most important is that you can bring your professional competence into play in close multidisciplinary collaboration, where we work together to lift the core task.

We would like you to

• Have experience with or an interest in the disability field
• Desire to work with both learning, activities and personal care
• See the importance of a good documentation practice
• Have experience with KRAP and be willing to broaden its use even further
• Have a driver's license for a passenger car and be willing to drive in our handicap bus

Working hours and terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week, but with room for adjustment. At Marienlund we have mixed day and evening shifts and we participate in weekend rotation every 2nd or 3rd week depending on what fits best with your private life.

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and the local wage arrangement.

We will obtain a public criminal record check for the person we intend to hire and a reference from a previous employer.
