About the job

Are you a nurse, and do you dream of new challenges or of trying your hand in a completely new field in a professionally inspiring and collaborative environment? Then this is your chance to become part of our engaged nursing team in Frederikshavn.

We are seeking a district nurse/home care nurse who wishes to become part of a larger home care group covering Frederikshavn West, Frederikshavn East and Ravnshøj. You will receive a unique opportunity to be part of a Fixed Team in home care and at the same time join a larger nursing professional community. Here you will have ample opportunity for professional sparring, development and interprofessional collaboration.

Who are we?

In Sygeplejen Nord og Opland you will become part of a team of nurses covering three areas. We are a good mix of experienced and new colleagues who work closely across disciplines and teams to ensure the best possible care for our citizens and to strengthen knowledge sharing across nursing and home care.

We work based on the concept of Fixed Teams , where collaboration and interdisciplinarity are keywords. Therefore it is important that you can participate as an active and engaged part of the care team and contribute to strengthening interprofessional collaboration. You will also be a professional beacon in the group, inspiring and guiding your colleagues in daily task handling.

Your tasks and your role

As our new colleague you will experience a high degree of self-organization in daily work. Your tasks will include:

  • plan and carry out nursing interventions with a focus on the citizens' individual needs
  • function as an acute care nurse and play a central role in preventing unnecessary admissions
  • actively participate in the collaboration in Fixed Teams and be a central part of triage
  • delegate and follow up on tasks in the care group and contribute to competence development
  • work from a rehabilitative approach and strengthen citizens' opportunities to live an independent life

We offer you

  • a permanent position of 30-37 hours per week with a mix of day and evening shifts and a weekend shift every 2nd or every 4th weekend
  • an individually tailored introduction program focusing on both personal and professional needs
  • an open and flexible work environment where well-being and dialogue are highly valued
  • a workplace characterized by openness, humor and professional sparring
  • collegial support and the opportunity to contribute with your ideas and skills

•

Who are you?

We are looking for a nurse who

  • is a trained nurse, preferably with experience from home care, but not a requirement
  • can handle complex nursing tasks and maintain an overview in acute situations
  • works independently and responsibly based on the citizen's current situation
  • thrives with change and has a positive approach to new ways of working
  • is passionate about professional development and interprofessional collaboration and actively uses colleagues for sparring
  • has the ability to be a professional beacon and a role model who inspires and guides colleagues
  • is familiar with IT and has a driving licence

Start and practical information

  • Employment from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter
  • Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement
  • A criminal records certificate must be presented, and we will obtain references by agreement.
