About the job

Dear nurse. Would you like to work in a professionally strong and well-functioning team where the patient’s issues are put in focus? Then apply for this position and get colleagues who value good collaboration.

We have a vacancy in the Clinic for Psychoses, Viborg, and we are looking for you!

  • You are a nurse and can start on 1 January 2027 or after agreement

We have a vacancy on the team in the Clinic for Psychoses in Viborg, and we hope you will be part of our fantastic team.

We work with a very diverse patient group, where each treatment course is planned individually with the whole person in mind.

The work takes place on weekdays during the day and involves a high degree of independence and at the same time close collaboration with our other skilled nurses, psychologists, secretaries and doctors, who are always available for sparring, reflection and supervision.

All nurses have both newly diagnosed patients, who receive an OPUS program, as well as other psychosis patients

The holistic treatment includes, in addition to the individual contact with the patient, group treatment and involvement of relatives and other cross-sector collaborators.

The team in Viborg consists of 8 nurses, 2 psychologists and 4 doctors and there is close cooperation with the team in Skive, where we meet once a week for a treatment conference as well as other joint activities such as sparring, supervision, staff meetings and OPUS conferences.

The house in Viborg is usually a quiet place where everyone is good at helping each other across professional groups. Each treatment provider also has their own office.

The working environment in the clinic is characterized by mutual trust, openness, helpfulness and a good portion of humor.

It is important to us that new employees get a good start. Therefore, in addition to an intro-ductory program, a mentor is assigned.

You will also be offered basic and ongoing professional development — including e-learning and physical courses that expand your knowledge of the field and ensure you have the necessary knowledge.

We need you to be

  • Trained nurse
  • Competent and well-founded in psychiatric nursing. Preferably with specialist training or other relevant continuing/advanced education.
  • Good at working independently, maintaining an overview and prioritizing work tasks purposefully.
  • Ready to take responsibility for this vulnerable group.
  • Happy to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Committed to the core task — making a difference for severely ill people with psychotic disorders and comorbidity.
  • Having your own car is necessary. Travel allowance is provided according to government rates.

Can you see yourself in the above?

Then please get in touch! We are happy to elaborate over the phone or with a cup of coffee.
