About the job

We are looking for a nurse for our inpatient ward, where we work with the coolest specialty.

We are seeking a new colleague from 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

And who are we then?

We are the Renal Medicine Department Y1 and we consist of an inpatient ward staffed for 13 patients, as well as an outpatient clinic with day hospital function.

We provide care and treatment of renal medicine patients in all facets of their journey and life, including transplantation, which is one of the department’s core tasks, where we have, several times, been named by Dagens Medicin as the best in Denmark for transplantation.

We do this among other things based on the nursing strategy with the starting point in care, professionalism and responsibility .

Our patients contact us directly in connection with illness, which means we often receive both acute and elective patients directly in the department bypassing FAM. This, among other things, helps strengthen our interdisciplinary collaboration and means that we know our chronic patients very well.

In addition to a strong group of nurses and social and healthcare assistants, with everything from newly trained to 40-year jubilees, we also have a clinical nurse specialist in the department who assists the development of nursing, both theoretically and practically. In addition, we have many students from several different educations.

Your future colleagues say

“ We make a big difference for many sick patients. ”

“We know our patients well. That gives both security and motivation.”

“We have good colleagues and a strong professional work community.”

“I have fantastic colleagues and enjoy working with the acute patients.”

The department places emphasis on a safe and good working environment, where everyone contributes to the good working environment, and you have your immediate supervisor close to you.

For you who are hired, we offer a permanent position of 37 hours in mixed shifts, where you have the opportunity to primarily choose evening or night shifts. You participate in weekend rotation every 3rd weekend.

We use a Wish plan in scheduling, so you have a great influence on your own shift plan.

We ensure thorough training in our specialty, where we have a nice introduction program

If you have any questions about the position, or would like to visit us in the department before applying, you are welcome to contact Chief Nurse Camilla Borum 30 58 03 52 or Clinical Specialist Jette Lunderskov 22 68 18 10.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the link below. Employment is conditional on a satisfactory police check for children and authorization. You can apply before you have your authorization certificate, but then the employment is conditional on obtaining authorization after completing your education.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms for the position follow the Health Collective - Agreement 32.17.1. The starting salary for the position can be found via the following link: See starting salary for positions in Region of Southern Denmark.

In addition to the starting salary, the pay may include negotiated allowances depending on the position, your experience and qualifications.

Deadlines

The application deadline for the position is Thursday 12 November 2026.

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 24 November 2026.
