Nutrition Assistant/Cook/Caterer for Esbjerg Municipality's Meal Service

We are seeking a new colleague who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves a varied workday.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on 1 November 2026 or by agreement.

Most days the working hours are planned in the period from 6:00 to 15:00. As a rule, you work every 6th weekend and on certain holidays.

Esbjerg Municipality's Meal Service produces chilled meals for residents living at home who are referred to meal service, as well as components for the midday meal for the receiving kitchens in the municipality's other nursing homes.

In addition, we deliver all meals of the day to the residents at Hedelund Nursing Home as well as meals for day-care users, meetings and events at the nursing home.

We are looking for you who

• have a natural ability to delegate and collaborate with others
• are structured and have a good overview, even when busy
• are skilled at planning and can prioritize tasks effectively

Your tasks will include, among others

• preparation of hot and cold dishes
• production of open sandwiches
• cleaning
• dishwashing
• packaging of food
• quality control of the food
• self-inspection
• other tasks that contribute to making a large production kitchen function optimally

Salary and employment terms are set in accordance with the applicable collective agreement, including the applicable provisions on local pay formation.
