About the job

Would you like to help solve a societally important task, ensuring that everyone pays the correct tax? Do you thrive working with various and challenging tasks where you continually improve your skills? Are you curious, and motivated by creating correct results?

About the position

Your primary task will be to verify citizens' declarations in TastSelv. In addition, you will need to handle reopening cases and participate in the department's other tasks related to citizens' income circumstances and deduction rights. You will thus contribute to ensuring that the individual citizen pays the correct tax.

We follow the case from start to finish and case processing requires, in addition to making correct administrative decisions, manual lookups in our IT systems and correspondence with the citizen - both in the form of letters, emails and telephone contact to illuminate the case sufficiently.

Your professional and personal competencies

There can be several paths into the job. You may have an educational background in tax, or you may have professional experience in the tax law area and experience with case handling from the public sector.

We attach particular importance to you being curious and eager to learn, while having the willingness and patience to work thoroughly with cases within personal taxation. You are able to unravel detailed problems and have a well-developed sense for details and quality in every case.

Your communicative skills come into play in both writing and speaking. It is therefore important that you can express yourself clearly and precisely with respect for the authority role that accompanies the task. In contact with citizens, you will meet people who prefer to use English, so it will be an advantage if you can express yourself in English.

In everyday work you will work independently with your own cases, but you will also need to solve tasks in cooperation with colleagues in the unit and with other colleagues in the organization. You will thus have work that varies between a high degree of independence, professional sparring, and knowledge sharing.

Your new workplace

You can look forward to becoming part of the Citizens 1 – Digital Control unit in Rønne (Bornholm), where there are currently 15 professionally skilled and helpful colleagues ready to welcome you.

We place a high value on collaboration and a good working environment. We expect everyone to do their part to maintain a good workplace. You will become part of a unit characterized by commitment and with a good social environment, with a humorous, positive and informal tone.

We offer you diverse, exciting and challenging tasks, where you will have responsibility and good development opportunities in the form of relevant education and courses. You will be assigned a mentor at the start, who will ensure you have a good and careful introduction to the task.

The Ministry of Taxation and Growth emphasizes supporting flexible working conditions, and the framework for work organization is discussed between the manager and the employee based on the overall task solution.
