Ølsted School is looking for a pedagogical assistant with a knack for ball games, movement and outdoor activity

Do you want to join the court of balls, in the hall and out in the open?

The position is 37 hours/week, and is a permanent position with start 1.12.2026 or earlier if possible.

Are you passionate about the pedagogical core task – namely being with the children – and are you always ready for tag, football and belonging in the hall, on the playing fields or a trip outdoors, then we would love to hear from you.

You will become part of a year-group team, where half of your time is in the lower school in the mornings and the other half in the SFO in the afternoons.

Collaboration between the school part and the SFO is important to us so that the children experience coherence in everyday life. This means you will enter into a close and committed team collaboration to create wholeness in the students' day at the school.

Overall, we at Ølsted Skole work to ensure that all children have participation opportunities both academically and socially. We do this by offering a wide range of activities and adults who are passionate about different interests they can bring into play with the children.

Terms of employment

The position is 37 hours per week.

Salary and employment conditions are according to the applicable collective agreement. Base salary for the lowest salary grade is 25,956.86 DKK/month excluding pension. In addition, qualification and functional supplements can be agreed.

When offering employment, references are taken, and criminal background/child checks are obtained.

In Halsnæs Municipality, working hours are smoke-free.

About Ølsted Skole

Ølsted Skole is a 1-2 tracked school located between Frederiksværk and Hillerød. We have about 300 pupils distributed across grades 0-9. The school is characterized by a strong local anchoring and a strong sense of community.

Ølsted Skole is located in a scenic area close to Hillerød and Frederikssund. There are good public transport options, including a direct train connection to Hillerød. If you come from Copenhagen, you reach Ølsted quickly, as you drive against the traffic.
