Østerhåbskolen seeks two Danish teachers for longer maternity leave substitutes

If you can say yes to the above, you may be one of two new teachers we need for maternity cover at our Hatting department. Both positions run at least until 30 June 2027.

• Position 1: Danish + other minor subjects in 1st grade. If you have competencies in English at the middle levels, we can also bring this into play.

Employment from 9 November 2026.

• Position 2: Danish + English in 4th grade. If you have competencies in German in 6th grade, we can also bring this into play.

Employment from 1 January 2027

This close collaboration greatly contributes to joint planning, implementation and evaluation of teaching.

Østerhåbskolen is located in the southern part of Horsens. We work with departmental structure, and the school has four departments. The Torsted departments are divided into primary, middle and high school, and in addition there is primary and middle in the Hatting department.

Teamwork is in focus to enable the school’s task to be carried out competently. Work is carried out in all teams continuously and with set goals for the team’s work. We are organized so that the individual teams have great flexibility in relation to working competently with the core task: the students’ learning and well-being.

All of the school’s departments are located in an active local area with an engaged parent body. The school has about 1450 wonderful students and an after-school program (SFO) in both Hatting and Torsted with room for about 500 children. The school’s competent staff consists of about 140 dedicated people.
