Are you retired, a student, part-time employed or are you simply looking for extra hours alongside your current job? We are continuously seeking stable and engaged on-call substitutes who can step in when needed. We need substitutes for day, evening and night shifts as well as weekend, holiday and vacation period shifts.

We value flexibility, which goes both ways, and you can expect a good dialogue about your opportunities to take shifts. The more flexible you are, the more hours there will typically be.

Who are we?

Valmuehaven is a 24/7 residential facility with 12 units for adults with varying degrees of physical and mental disabilities, including citizens with dementia.

We work purposefully to create everyday life that is: Safe and predictable, Meaningful and active, Characterized by citizen involvement and self-determination. With us there is room for both the small, intimate moments and communities filled with life and joy.

You will become part of an engaged employee group, where we prioritize professional sparring, knowledge sharing and a good working environment.

Your tasks

• Personal care and health tasks
• Structure and support in daily chores
• Activities, relationships and communities

As an on-call substitute at Valmuehaven you work with

• Relational work as a central element
• Focus on motivation, participation and development
• A resource-oriented approach focusing on the citizen's wishes and dreams

Documentation is a natural part of the work and contributes to quality, structure and continuity in the efforts around the citizens.

Our professional approach

We work among other things with: Neuro-pedagogy, recovery-oriented rehabilitation (ROR) and life history as a methodological tool.

You will receive a thorough introduction with shadow shifts and buddy training, so you feel well prepared for the task.

We emphasize that you

• Can create safe and trusting relationships
• Have an eye for the citizen's resources and development opportunities
• Are flexible and can maintain an overview in a daily life with shifting tasks

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with personal care
• Experience from the social or health sector
• Experience with the target group, dementia and/or psychiatry
• Driver's license

Employment terms

• Employment as an hourly paid on-call substitute
• Shifts as needed and by agreement. Expected working hours: 07/08-15, 15-21/22, night shift 22-07
• Possibility for day, evening, weekend and possibly night shifts
• Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement
