Meals and Nutrition are seeking a positive, service-minded and engaged operations manager for our area of Dishwashing and Distribution.

Your new everyday life

You will have personnel responsibility for about 30 employees and a central role in ensuring that the daily operation functions efficiently and safely.

Together with your team you ensure that the meal trolleys are cleaned, prepared, packed and distributed, so patients and canteens receive their meals on time.

In Meals and Nutrition we work based on the mission to deliver "the right nutrition to the right patient at the right time". This requires well-functioning logistics, safe work processes and good collaboration.

The department handles tasks all year round from 5:06 to 21:30.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the daily operation of Dishwashing and Distribution. Your key tasks will be:

• Lead and motivate a team of about 30 employees
• Plan and develop processes, work routines and resources in Dishwashing with focus on quality, hygiene and an efficient flow
• Ensure efficient and accurate distribution, where packing, handling and delivery of meal trolleys works across multiple sites
• Create an overview of the overall logistical capacity and ensure coherence in daily workflows
• Contribute to a strong interdisciplinary collaboration across the production kitchen and canteens, which together have about 200 employees
• Lead the implementation of an automated buffering system for handling, storing and dispatching meal trolleys
• Contribute to the implementation of automated AGV driving for pickup, delivery and return of meal trolleys

Working hours primarily fall in the period 8:00-15:30 on weekdays. The position is part of an organization that works all year round.

About Meals and Nutrition

Meals and Nutrition Production Kitchen is located in Hospital City 22. Here we produce meals for patients in both psychiatry and somatics in Aalborg, Farsø and Hobro, and for our canteens, cafés and meeting catering.

Salary and terms of employment

The position is full-time with worksite in Aalborg. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement for leading service and care personnel concluded with FOA and the Employers’ Association.

Start date is January 1, 2027.
