Pedagogue or similar for Livslinjen - STU (Maternity leave cover)

One of our skilled pedagogues is going on maternity leave, so we are seeking someone who can become part of a strong team of creative, professionally competent, dedicated colleagues in STU – Silkeborg. This is a temporary position from December 1, 2026 or preferably earlier, until June 30, 2027 with the possibility of extension.

STU

STU-Silkeborg is Silkeborg Municipality's Specially Arranged Youth Education for young people with disabilities. Our student group consists of youths with, for example, autism, psychosocial challenges, ADHD, general learning difficulties and multiple disabilities. We also support youths with maladaptive behavior who require a more sheltered offer. All are youths with special needs and varying resources who need a specially tailored youth education.

Livslinjen

Livslinjen is our more sheltered offering with youths who need a high degree of support. It includes youths with low cognitive functioning, and some also need help with personal care, etc. The instruction takes place on individual premises and through close guidance, mirroring and special pedagogical support, working toward individual goals. You are always together with colleagues on the task.

What a day on Livslinjen can look like

From 8 to 9 you meet with your team. Here you agree on a short daily program and distribute tasks among you. You also discuss, for example, the long-term planning, the students' individual goals and progression, and other academic points.

At 9 the students arrive, usually starting with a joint walk. The day consists of three modules, each module individually tailored for the individual student with adapted learning activities. These can be, for example, academic tasks, creative tasks, puzzles, physical activity, ADL tasks and much more. It is based on the youth's goals and interests.

At 15 the students go home. Some days there may be meetings with colleagues. There may also be a day where you assist with transporting the students in a minibus.

• Has an appreciative and resource-oriented approach
• Is willing to be open to practice and participate in the shared learning in the team

Your educational background could be e.g. a pedagogue, but we are also interested in hearing from you if you have something other than pedagogy if you find the task interesting.

Salary and terms of employment in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and local wage formation agreement.
