About the job

About the Job

We are a housing community with around-the-clock coverage for adults with intellectual disabilities, who have varying needs for pedagogical guidance and support.

The housing community consists of 20 apartments, as well as common rooms.

We have a collaboration with the home care service, which comes to provide all personal care and other health care. Some residents have cleaning, while for other residents we try, with a pedagogical approach, to support them in being able to carry out the cleaning themselves.

The residents living here are granted support under § 85 of the Social Services Act and § 105 of the Act on Municipal Housing.

We collaborate with the residents on a life of learning and life mastery, while ensuring safety and predictability. In interaction with the residents we work creatively and innovatively with the goals. The residents are among others involved in the practical daily tasks, so they achieve learning and life mastery in daily life.

Pedagogical support is tailored individually to each resident.

The Harlev housing community is a house where we as staff have worked together for a long time, therefore you will also experience the tone as informal. We strive to be involved together in major decisions in the house, while at the same time supporting independence. A large part of the residents are attached to employment – both internal and external; here we work to support and develop individual skills based on the resident's motivation.
