Pedagogue for 1:1 project in a specialized placement provision – Nørre Nebel/Varde

Do you want to be the steady adult making a real difference in a young person's life? Alpha is seeking an educator for a full-time 1:1 project in an intensive and targeted treatment program where relationship, structure and high professionalism are crucial.

About Alpha

Alpha Nørre Nebel is a specialized social-pedagogical offering for young people and adults aged 10–35. We offer holistic 1:1 programs for clients with complex psychological and social challenges. The target group includes among others attachment disorders and neglect, ADHD and anxiety, substance abuse, crime-prone individuals as well as reduced social and cognitive skills.

The environment is small, sheltered and structured, and our clients benefit from predictability, clear boundaries and safe relationships. We work with empowerment, structured pedagogy, social skills training and HAP.

In the concrete offering you will be part of a team around a young person in need of close adult support, clear frameworks and a structured daily life. There may be situations where the young person is stressed and needs support to maintain calm, overview and regulate their reactions.

Structural pedagogy is central in the work. It is therefore important that you can work loyally within the shared structure while also adapting your support to the young person’s current needs. You must be able to stay calm in pressured situations, communicate briefly and clearly, set respectful boundaries and collaborate closely with your colleagues on a common pedagogical approach.

We are therefore looking for an employee who thrives in a specialized environment, can maintain overview when situations change, and who actively contributes to a strong and common professional foundation.

The work involves, that you…

• work closely and continuously with one client in an intensive and structured program
• create predictability, clear boundaries and security in daily life
• work in a relationship- and treatment-supportive manner
• actively contribute to the building of a newly established department and its professional culture
• participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychologists, management and the admissions team
• systematically document and work purposefully with action plans
• participate in 24-hour on-call shifts
