About Tungelund School

Tungelund School is located in Thorsø and is a developing school with about 260 pupils from 0th-9th grade. The school includes kindergarten, after-school care (SFO), general area, middle form and special class, and we are surrounded by a strong local community with great support for the school.

We are around 35 engaged staff who every day work to create the best conditions for children's learning, well-being and development. Collaboration, trust and shared responsibility are important hallmarks of our culture.

About the position

As an educational leader you will be part of the school's management team and will be responsible for the daily management of kindergarten, primary school and SFO, as well as the ongoing development of the school's middle form.

You will play a central role in

• Creating coherence between early childhood education, kindergarten, school and leisure.
• Developing strong communities and participation opportunities for all children.
• Leading and developing staff through sparring, feedback and clear direction.
• Further developing the school's work with middle forms and inclusive learning environments.

We are looking for a leader who

• Is visible, present and strong in relationships.
• Creates trust, followership and engagement.
• Has an eye for both professional development and well-being
• Has experience with or strong competencies within middle forms, inclusion and participation opportunities.
• Has a leadership education or is motivated to undertake one.

2nd interview round: Wednesday, December 16, 2026, 16:15-20:15
