About the job

Physiotherapist for the back area sought for Center for Rehabilitation and Prevention – Brøndby Municipality

Are you interested in the back area, and motivated to work holistically with citizens' rehabilitation and mastery of everyday life? Then it might be you we are looking for as our new colleague as of January 1, 2027.

About the position

We are seeking a physiotherapist who has a particular interest in – and preferably experience with – the back area. We want a colleague who would like to become part of our back group, contribute with new perspectives and professional input, and be curious about our approaches and methods.

You will have the opportunity to apply your professional competencies and help shape the continued development of our offerings in the back area. We place emphasis on professional curiosity, knowledge sharing and the desire to jointly find the best solutions for citizens.

The rheumatologic back group consists of seven physiotherapists and one occupational therapist. Your primary tasks will be rehabilitation and education of back-operated citizens, citizens with chronic back problems, and citizens with various rheumatologic issues.

We participate in an exciting and well-functioning cross-municipal collaboration between Albertslund, Brøndby and Glostrup municipalities, where the back group in Brøndby handles the initiatives for citizens from all three municipalities.

We work from a holistic approach, where we start from the individual citizen's needs, resources and current life situation. The effort may consist of rehabilitation, but often also a combination with other offerings, for example pain and illness management, relaxation, mindfulness, energy management and ergonomic guidance.

We use iCura as digitally supported training for our rehabilitation efforts and citizens' training programs. The system is part of our work with exercise planning and scheduling, as well as following up on and supporting the individual citizen's rehabilitation.

The training programs are planned individually and can take place as individual training, group training at the center or in the citizen's own home.

Your profile

We are looking for a colleague who can positively contribute to our community both professionally and personally.

We expect that you

  • Have experience with and a particular interest in the back area.
  • Have experience with or a strong interest in working with citizens with chronic pain.

  • Have strong communication skills – both orally and in writing.
  • Work in a structured manner and have an overview of your tasks.
  • Are flexible, inclusive and contribute positively to the professional collaboration.
  • Have a good sense of humor and value a strong collegial community.

About us

In Department 1 we are 21 physiotherapists and occupational therapists. In addition to the rheumatologic interventions, we handle tasks within cancer, orthopedic surgery and continence. Furthermore, we have a close collaboration with the municipality's Job Center.
