About the job

Physiotherapist for the health and care placements on Langeland Do you want to help create strong rehabilitation pathways close to the citizen's daily life?

As a physiotherapist at the upcoming health and care placements on Langeland, you will play an important role in citizens' rehabilitation journeys – and at the same time have the opportunity to help shape a new regional offering in Borgernær Sundhed at Odense University Hospital.

About the health and care placements

From January 1, 2027, Borgernær Sundhed at Odense University Hospital will take over responsibility for the regional health and care placements on Langeland.

The placements are aimed at citizens with a need for health-professional interventions, treatment, care and rehabilitation for a period. The citizens primarily come from a hospital department, and the goal for most is that they can return to their own home.

On Langeland, an offer with 8 placements is being established, where occupational therapists and physiotherapists, nurses, and social and health care assistants work closely together. Our joint goal is to help the citizen return as best as possible to their own life with dignity, efficient processes and a high level of professional input.

We believe that rehabilitation succeeds best when the citizen is an active partner, and when professional disciplines are brought into play across boundaries.

Your role as a physiotherapist

You will become a central part of the multidisciplinary team around the citizen.

Your tasks will include, among other things

  • examine and assess the citizen's functional ability and rehabilitation needs
  • plan and carry out individual physiotherapeutic interventions
  • work purposefully with mobility, functional ability and training
  • contribute to multidisciplinary assessments and joint plans for the citizen's course
  • collaborate with citizens, relatives and relevant partners
  • document and follow up on the physiotherapeutic interventions
  • contribute to the development of professional practice and workflows.

We imagine that you

Are a licensed physiotherapist and thrive in a daily life where professionalism, independence and collaboration are important.

In addition, we would like you to

  • have an eye for the citizen's entire journey
  • thrive with complex and composite problems
  • work in a structured way and be able to prioritise your tasks
  • actively contribute with your professional knowledge in the multidisciplinary collaboration
  • have the desire to help build a new workplace and a shared culture.

Experience with rehabilitation, geriatrics, complex citizen pathways or cross-sector collaboration is an advantage but not a requirement.

With us you get

  • a meaningful daily life with varied citizen pathways
  • opportunity for professional development and sparring
  • close collaboration with among others nurses, social and health care assistants and occupational therapists
  • opportunity to influence the physiotherapeutic interventions
  • a workplace focused on quality, coherence and the citizen's needs.
