About the job
Can you ensure governance and coordination of a complex and strategically important portfolio of IT initiatives in the debt collection domain? Can you navigate a large stakeholder landscape spanning business, IT, law and finance? And would you help support the collection of taxes and duties that secure the foundation for funding the welfare state? If so, perhaps you are the one we are seeking!
The job
As a portfolio manager in the Debt Collection Solutions office you will have the opportunity to support the execution of a strategic and politically important transformation program, with many stakeholders involved. With your strong skills and experience in IT portfolio management, financial management and executive support you contribute with concrete solutions to business challenges at a strategic and operational level. Your tasks will include:
- Create an overview of the initiatives and their status, risks, budget and consumption and oversee reporting on the initiatives
- Create transparency in the development portfolio by ensuring the right data quality and identifying the “critical path” and dependencies between initiatives
- Ensure ongoing consumption and forecast follow-up on deliveries in the portfolio
- Preparation of briefs and notes that contribute to creating an overview of and insight into the portfolio and support management decisions
- General management support in the office and the directorate, including preparation of commented agendas, coordination and servicing of cross-cutting meetings and internal forums, collection and distribution of meeting materials and preparation of minutes
You will become part of a project office with project managers, business analysts and test managers, where everyone works to ensure the achievement of the objectives for debt collection and recovery over a longer period. You will also be part of a team that works with portfolio management and PMO work. There will therefore be good opportunities for sparring and support for your tasks.
About you
It is important that you as a person have a strong drive and the ability to understand and operationalize complex issues. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, and you are not afraid to work with numbers. It comes naturally to you to be curious, and you thrive in dialogue with many people.
The ideal candidate
- has a relevant educational background, e.g. in political science or economics, or has acquired similar competencies through your professional life
- has a knack for numbers, can see economic interconnections and is able to communicate numbers to stakeholders without an economic background
- is quick to understand new, complex problems and is strongly analytical
- can work in a structured way at multiple levels of abstraction with a sense of the big picture while focusing on the details
- thrives in a changing daily routine that may include tight deadlines and is motivated by working with several varied tasks
- is good at building relationships and has strong collaboration skills across professional disciplines and cultures
- has solid professional experience from a similar role and familiarity with political processes and experience with executive support in a politically driven organization

You will be employed in the Debt Collection Solutions office, characterized by good humor and high professionalism, where you will also have ample opportunity to take on substantial responsibility. The office consists of 22 employees who work with portfolio management, project management, business analysis, testing and other project-supportive tasks.
