Preschool teacher wanted at Åkanden in Charlottenlund

We are looking for an engaged and present kindergarten educator who will help create a safe, fun and developmental environment for the children.

Åkanden is a self-governing, integrated day care institution with 66 children distributed across two nursery groups and two kindergarten groups. We are located in a cozy old villa close to both forest, beach and the station. We have Børnevennerne as our umbrella organization.

A everyday life with presence, play and community

For us, going to kindergarten should be fun. The children should feel that they belong, are seen and heard, and have an important place in the community.

Our daily life includes both play, immersion, laughter, routines, spontaneous ideas and planned activities. We follow the children's curiosity and create spaces where they can explore the world, develop and be part of the community in different ways.

As an educator you play an important role in creating this everyday life. You should be able to be present in the small moments, take initiative for play and activities, and at the same time have an eye for each child's needs, perspectives and opportunities to participate.
