About the job

Do you want to help protect the Taxation and Growth Ministry's group from cyber threats and ensure resilience in a complex and highly digitized ministerial area? Do you thrive on analyzing difficult issues and writing sharp decision briefs in a dynamic, political environment? Then you may be the experienced profile we are looking for in the security and emergency management area in the Taxation and Growth Ministry's department.

Join us in strengthening security in a societally critical area

As part of the Office of Security and Emergency Management you will be a key player in supporting the group's resilience in areas such as cyber and information security as well as emergency preparedness. In light of the tightened threat landscape Denmark faces, this is a highly prioritized area with great attention and ongoing development.

In Security and Emergency Management we work to ensure that the department and the group can handle extraordinary incidents through up-to-date frameworks for physical security and effective contingency plans. At the same time we support the group's maturity in cyber and information security by increasing the ability to prevent, identify, respond to and recover after cyberattacks.

In the position you will thus have the opportunity to work with highly current topics in security and emergency management, and your work will make a difference in how we as a group are prepared for the challenges that may come. You will become a driving force in several of our strategic, cross-cutting initiatives, where you will, among other things, conceive well-functioning solutions and write sharp decision briefs and otherwise participate broadly in the office's workload.

In daily work you will e.g.

  • Participate in cross-cutting projects and processes centered on developing strategies, policies, and guidelines for work with cyber- and information security as well as emergency preparedness in the group
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue and collaboration with stakeholders across the group to ensure ownership and implementation of initiatives.
  • Prepare decision briefs for the department's top management and in some cases also cross-cutting decision forums in the group.

You will become part of a professionally strong office with dedicated colleagues from different educational backgrounds. We prioritize professional development, sparring and good collaboration, and we ensure that you are challenged from day one.

Solution-oriented with an eye for both detail and the big picture

You have a relevant advanced education, and it is a big benefit if you have concrete experience with e.g. cyber- and information security from a ministry, an agency, or another large, complex organization.

In addition we imagine that you

  • Have well-developed analytical abilities and can devise solutions even for technically complex areas with a focus on quality in task execution
  • Have a sense for processes and structure and can manage tasks in good collaboration with many different stakeholders
  • Can create momentum and ensure results in a dynamic everyday life, while keeping an overview
  • Have a sharp pen and the ability to articulate complex issues precisely and with nuance.

Work closely with what matters

At the Taxation and Growth Ministry we work closely with political processes in an area with great attention and many stakeholders. We devote all our efforts to solving our tasks in a proper way while also setting direction and creating solutions for our entire group.

We are a professional and ambitious ministry with about 330 employees, solving challenging tasks daily across disciplines. We know that a good solution arises from the interaction between professions. Therefore we cultivate a strong professional collaborative culture, where there is also room for social aspects.
