The production in Ølsted is both high-tech and very practical. We handle many different products and customer types, and there are plenty of people, machines and processes that have to work together. Therefore we are looking for a production manager with overview, drive and a desire to be visible where it happens. You must be able to get the day-to-day operation in place and help build a stronger production for tomorrow.

What will you do

• You take overall responsibility for the daily production and ensure capacity, staffing and customer needs align.
• You are visible on all shifts, talk to people at eye level and make direction and decisions easy to understand.
• You lead and develop production managers and employees, and give them both responsibility, sparring and clear expectations.
• You follow up on KPIs and other relevant metrics without forgetting the people behind the numbers.
• You collaborate closely with engineering, suppliers and colleagues across when breakdowns must be solved, and when they should be avoided next time.
• You turn good ideas into concrete action and follow up until new working practices actually work in everyday life.
• You work with budgets, estimates, procurement and investments together with the department head, and notify in good time if the plan slips.

Do you recognise yourself?

You are first and foremost a strong leader. You have tried leading managers and larger groups of employees in a production or another operations organization. You have technical understanding and you like data, but you also know that results are created through people, not from a spreadsheet alone.

In relation to the job, it is an advantage if you have

• Experience with staffing planning
• Experience with working environment
• Working with continuous improvements and cooperation with maintenance or engineering.
• Working with key figures and economics, and you have implemented changes in a culture where not everything clicked from day one.
• A technical education such as an engineer
