For Mayekawa Nordic A/S, we are seeking a Production Technical Supporter with a focus on keeping the systems running and getting things finished.

Mayekawa Nordic A/S has once again asked us to find the right person for an important role. They are looking for a Production Technical Supporter who can create/maintain structure, support development and be an important link in the technical everyday life.

Mayekawa Nordic A/S is headquartered in Middelfart and operates as the Nordic development center for the Japanese group Mayekawa. The company develops industrial refrigerating systems and heat pumps and is particularly known for the mCHILLER series, which uses the natural refrigerant ammonia to achieve high energy efficiency and sustainability.

The department you will join does not exist yet. It will be built from the ground up, and you will be one of the first two in place, namely a leader and you. The leader sets the direction and builds the framework, and together you carry the daily work in the systems and keep them running. You are very good with the tools, and you thrive on it. And because the department is so new, you will help shape it as it grows.

Since there will be a need to visit the production unit in Serbia, you should expect up to 25 travel days per year.

Responsibilities

You keep track of what needs to be in order for the rest to function. The responsibility is yours:

• Complete and adjust 3D models with a view to production.
• Manage drawing packages and lists.
• Structured organization of parts and codes.
• Build and maintain bills of materials (BOMs).
• Maintenance of product manuals.
• Work in ERP- and PDM-systems.
• Descriptions of component elements so they are understandable for production.

Work tasks

Much of your responsibility and work lies at the execution level, close to drawings and tools:

• CAD automation and workflows in practice.
• Create, update and release drawings.
• From prototype to production model, through to final test before handover.
• Supplier contact and purchasing specifications.

Professional competencies

You likely have a background as a mechanical engineer, production technologist or something similar. You have worked with design before, and if you have also had a hand on the production side, that is a clear plus.

The department will collectively master a range of technical areas, and you will carry a good part of the craft. That includes Vault and Inventor, including automation and workflows, mechanical design and assembly processes, knowledge of production technology and experience with ERP- and PDM-systems. Knowledge of welding, sheet metal processing, piping and fittings is an advantage.

Personal competencies

You are structured and focused, and you finish things rather than moving on to the next. You take initiative when a solution is needed, and you do not wait to be asked.

You can work independently and are also a team player. Yes, it’s a classic, but it matters here. There are only two in the department, so you must be able to stand on your own two feet and at the same time pull together when it counts.

And you can navigate an organization that is not yet structured. Because that is exactly what you will do: help create the structure that isn’t there yet.

It would be advantageous if you have an interest in or experience with working in an international environment, with relationships and contacts beyond national borders. Therefore it is also important that you speak English at a higher level.
